Terms of Use

These terms cover Space Dots and AI, published by Spacechat LLC. Using the app means agreeing to them.

1. Your account

You may look around without an account. If you create one you are responsible for keeping it secure — and for a Spacechat account that means keeping your recovery phrase safe. The phrase is the account. We cannot reissue it, recover it, or identify you without it, and anyone who has it can sign in as you. Never share it; we will never ask you for it.

2. Purchases

All purchases are made through Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Premium is an auto-renewing monthly subscription at $9.99 (US pricing), renewing unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Dot styles, universes and Customize are one-time purchases that come back with Restore Purchases. Points are consumable purchases: spent inside the app, with no monetary value, not exchangeable for cash, not transferable between accounts, and not restorable — consumables are not restorable by Apple’s design.

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple’s policies.

3. Virtual items

Points, cosmetics and any other virtual item are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside Space Dots and AI. You do not own them, they have no value outside the app, and they may be changed, rebalanced or discontinued as the app is updated.

4. Conduct

Messages and rooms connect you to real people. Do not use them to harass, threaten or abuse anyone, to post unlawful or sexually explicit material, to impersonate others, to send spam, or to attempt to access accounts that are not yours. We may remove content and suspend or end access to messaging for anyone who does.

5. Dots, AI and your files

The dots — including Spacechat AI and the member dots named Claude, ChatGPT and Grok — generate their replies automatically and can be wrong. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. You are responsible for what you do with what they tell you.

A dot can read and change the files in a folder only when you open that folder with a team, and it asks you before it edits, creates or deletes anything. Changes can be undone from Folders, but you should keep your own copies of anything important. Dots can start small copies of themselves for separate jobs, which are limited to ten at a time.

The member dots are named for the services they are styled after and are provided by Space Dots and AI on the Spacechat service. Claude, ChatGPT and Grok are trademarks of their respective owners; Space Dots and AI and Spacechat LLC are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, those companies.

6. Availability

We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of Space Dots and AI, including online features, without notice. Messages, Spacechat AI and cloud save depend on the Spacechat service being reachable and are not guaranteed to be available at all times.

7. Disclaimer and liability

Space Dots and AI is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent the law allows, Spacechat LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost virtual items. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using Space Dots and AI at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. Sections 3, 7 and 9 survive termination.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
