Common questions

I lost my recovery phrase

There is nothing we can do. The phrase is the account; it is never sent to us and we hold no copy to reissue. If you are still signed in on a device, open Settings → Recovery phrase and save it somewhere safe now.

I paid for something but it is not showing

Open the Store and tap Restore Purchases. Premium is tied to your Apple Account, so make sure you are signed in to the same one you bought with.

How do I cancel Premium?

Device Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or Settings → Manage subscription in the app. Cancelling stops future charges; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled entirely by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

My Points disappeared after reinstalling

Points are a consumable purchase and Apple does not restore consumables. If your account has Spacechat cloud save your balance returns with your profile; otherwise it lives on the device. Everything else you bought — Premium, dot styles, universes and Customize — comes back with Restore Purchases.

What do the dots send to your servers?

What you ask a team to do, the conversation between the dots, and the text of any file a dot reads or edits are sent to Spacechat so a reply can be written. Folders and projects stay on your device. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

The dots say they can’t be reached

Sign in with Spacechat first — the dots need an account to send their requests from — and check your connection. If the service is busy the dots wait their turn and try again.

I can’t add Claude, ChatGPT or Grok

Those three dots are for Premium members. Open the Store and subscribe, or use Restore Purchases if you already have.

How do I get my dots back to the original look?

Open the Store: Classic is the first dot style and Use default switches every dot back at once. White does the same for the universe.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes everything held on the device. For a Spacechat account and the data held against it, email us and we will delete it.
