Space Dots and AI: dots that work together, built on your Spacechat account
Space Dots and AI is a free iOS app published by Spacechat. It is a place where dots work for you: you collect a team, tell it what you want to make, and the dots talk to each other and to you while they get it done. The account behind it is the one you already use — the same recovery phrase that signs you in to Spacechat lets your dots do their work.
One phrase, both apps
Sign in with your Spacechat recovery phrase and Space Dots and AI uses that account directly, so your dots can send their requests. You can also sign in with Apple to keep your purchases, and you can look around your universe with no account at all. An account is required to make a purchase, so it can be restored later.
A universe of dots
The home screen is a map of dots you drag and zoom. Every dot has a name and a job, and the Spacechat dots are all there. Collect a team of dots, give them the name and idea of what you want to make, and watch them work: each dot shows its latest message above it and its status underneath. Keep the result, or ask the team for changes.
Connect the dots
Dots report to the dot above them and send their results back up to the team lead. Hold a dot to move it, drop it on another dot to connect it, or drop it on the bin to delete it. A dot can also start up to ten small copies of itself for separate little jobs.
Folders with their own dots
Open a folder in Space Dots and AI with its own team and its own conversation history. The dots can read and edit the files in that folder, always asking you first, and every change can be undone. Files and projects stay on your device.
Make them yours
Give any dot a look, a bio and instructions, or make your own. The Store sells whole dot styles — Glass, Ink, Neon, Candy, Chrome and Sunset — that restyle every dot at once, with Classic always one tap away, plus universe looks and Customize. Premium adds the Claude, ChatGPT and Grok dots; Space Dots and AI is not affiliated with those companies.
Private by the same standard
Space Dots and AI carries no ads, no analytics SDKs and no trackers, and sells no data. What you ask the dots, and the text of files they read to do it, is sent to the Spacechat service to be answered; your folders stay on your device. Your recovery phrase lives in the device Keychain, marked so it never leaves in an iCloud or iTunes backup, and signing out removes it from the device entirely.
