OpenX and Public Sharing: Understanding Older Spacechat Links
You may reach this address from an older Spacechat article or shared link about the OpenX feed. That guide described an earlier product experience. The current public website focuses on messages, groups, calls, AI tools and Mail. This updated page preserves the useful sharing and privacy guidance without promising that an earlier feed, comment or discovery control is available today.
Use current instructions for current features
Open the current Spacechat app and check its navigation before following an older screenshot. An article about an earlier feed is not evidence that its like, comment, GIF or search controls remain supported. Use the getting-started and group guides for the current public introduction, or ask support about a specific feature.
A public post differs from a private conversation
Material intended for a public audience may be copied, quoted or shared beyond its original context. A private conversation has a different intended audience, but the recipient can still copy what you send. Decide who should see a message before choosing where to put it; do not assume that every space has the same visibility.
Keep other people’s information out of public updates
Do not publish another person’s private messages, contact details or images without an appropriate basis to share them. Remove passwords, recovery phrases, payment information and identifying documents from screenshots. Check the audience and the surrounding context before posting a file or image.
Check links before following them
An old post may link to a retired page or another website. Review the destination before signing in, entering account information or downloading a file. The Spacechat support and privacy pages explain how to ask for help without handing an account recovery phrase to another user.
Find an appropriate place for a conversation
For a shared-interest conversation, review the current Groups guide and the rules of the group you join. Use direct messages for an individual exchange and keep important account decisions separate from social conversation. Availability can differ by app version; contact support when an older link does not match what you see.
